List only available rewards
Replace the demo prizes with real rewards. If a prize is limited to one selection, remove it after it is won. Make sure everyone understands the eligible entries and possible results.
Explain the chances
Each entry has the same chance. Duplicating a prize adds another chance for that label. Do not describe this as weighted mode; this application currently uses equal-size entry segments.
Test before the activity
Run a practice spin, check the displayed result, and test the sound setting on your device. Sound is off initially. Use fullscreen when presenting to a room.
Keep the purpose clear
This wheel is intended for informal selection. It is not a certified lottery system and does not determine whether your giveaway meets local rules.
Worked example: three stickers and one notebook
Add Sticker three times and Notebook once if each available item should have an equal chance. At the first draw, Sticker has a 3-in-4 chance and Notebook a 1-in-4 chance. If a Sticker entry wins and is removed, the next list contains two stickers and one notebook. If you instead want the two prize types to be equally likely, use one entry per type and manage inventory separately. These two rules produce different probabilities; announce the one you use.
Separate choosing a participant from choosing a reward
A list of prizes selects a prize, not a person. A list of people selects a participant, not a prize. When an activity needs both, use a name picker for the participant and the prize wheel for the reward, with separate lists and clearly stated rules. For a repeat-free participant round, remove the selected name. For stock tracking, remove the selected prize entry when that item is awarded.
Prepare a practice round without changing the real list
Save your original configuration, then test a spin and verify that the result matches the pointer. Test automatic removal and the sound setting if you will use them. Reopen the original saved configuration after practicing; otherwise your practice draw may have depleted an entry intended for the activity. Check long reward labels and use fullscreen if you present the wheel to a group.
Record what was actually selected
The application keeps a local session result history. It does not create an independently audited draw log, verify an entrant's identity, or prevent a browser from being modified. Copy the information you need for your informal activity and describe its limits accurately. Server share links expire; portable links contain a copy of the entries and do not expire. Share only the configuration you intend others to view, and keep any participant list separate when possible.
