Effective October 10, 2026. This policy describes the implemented features; optional services depend on the site’s configuration.

Entries and local storage

Current wheel entries are held in browser memory. Saving a wheel stores its name, entries, settings, history, and timestamp in localStorage on your device. Templates may briefly use sessionStorage to open a configuration. A theme preference and optional analytics preferences are also stored locally.

Shared wheels

Anyone with a share link can view the wheel name, entries, and settings. Server share links store this copy and expire after the configured retention period, normally 90 days. When server sharing is unavailable, portable links encode the copy in the URL fragment; they do not expire and the app does not upload their entries. Shared wheels are excluded from the sitemap and marked noindex. Avoid sharing personal information.

Optional analytics

Optional usage analytics collect event names and aggregate metadata such as tool type and entry count. Wheel labels, winner names, email addresses, and contact messages are not sent as analytics event parameters. When configured, Google Analytics or Tag Manager loads after your analytics choice. Microsoft Clarity loads after your experience-analytics choice, with editable wheel areas marked for masking. Admin and shared-wheel pages do not load these trackers.

Contact messages and access

Contact forms store the name, email address, subject, and message you submit when the server is configured. Authorized staff can review messages. Administrative authentication uses GitHub OAuth. The application does not collect or store your GitHub password.

Retention and deletion

You can delete local wheels from Saved Wheels or clear your browser storage. Shared-wheel expiry and aggregate event retention are configured by the site operator; a maintenance endpoint removes expired records. Contact messages can be deleted by an administrator. Use the contact page to ask about server-stored data.

Your choices

Optional tracking is off until you choose it. You may withdraw consent here. To clear cookies already stored by third parties, use your browser’s site-data controls.
