How to use Letter Wheel
Choose uppercase or lowercase. Remove letters you do not want included, then spin.
- Choose Uppercase A–Z or Lowercase a–z to replace the current letter list.
- Remove letters you do not want in this round, or clear the list and paste a custom alphabet.
- Spin to choose a starting letter for your game.
- Remove the result if each letter should appear only once in the round.
Give it a try
Start a word game, choose a letter for categories, or practice beginning sounds.
Example: a category word game
Start with A–Z and choose a category such as animals, places, or objects in the room. When the wheel selects B, participants supply a word beginning with B. For younger learners, use a smaller list such as A, B, C, M, and S. Decide how to handle difficult letters before the round instead of repeatedly spinning until a preferred letter appears.
Letter selection is not word generation
The default list contains 26 separate English letters, with one chance per entry. It does not suggest words or check spelling. You can paste accented letters, another alphabet, or multi-character entries such as ‘CH’; each line is still one selectable entry. Selecting a case button resets the list to its standard alphabet, so save any custom set before replacing it.
Useful to know
Can I use a different alphabet?
Yes. Clear the list and paste one character or letter per line.
Can a letter repeat?
Yes, unless you remove the winner after each spin.
Each entry is equally likely. See how random selection works.
