How to use Truth or Dare Wheel

Agree on boundaries and allow anyone to pass. Spin to pick the type of challenge.

  1. Decide whether the wheel will choose Truth/Dare or a complete prompt.
  2. For complete prompts, clear the two default entries and paste one prompt per line.
  3. Agree on a pass option and group boundaries before playing.
  4. Spin, follow the chosen prompt, and remove it if it should not repeat.

Give it a try

Icebreaker games and friendly party challenges.

Two game formats

The default two-entry wheel selects only the type of turn: Truth or Dare. Your group then supplies a prompt. For a ready-to-play round, replace those labels with questions such as ‘What hobby would you try?’ or actions such as ‘Draw an animal in 30 seconds.’ Each complete prompt is one entry. Mixing broad labels and complete prompts can make the game confusing, so choose one format for the round.

Keep the round easy to run

Use short, readable prompts, and remove used entries for a fresh challenge each turn. Include only activities participants are comfortable doing, and allow passing without requiring a second random draw. If you want conversation questions without challenges, open the Icebreaker Questions template. The wheel does not generate, assess, or moderate prompts; the list you enter determines every possible result.

Useful to know

Can I add actual prompts?
